Keith and Pamela Fenton's Wedding at The Town House and The Carmelite Hotel., Aberdeen

A last Minute wedding but for me and Sarah (my wife and assistant) a lovely one.
Sometimes you just click with people and could be any number of reasons but in this case it was simply because they are genuine folks getting on with there lives, no pretense, no airs and graces.
None of my Ideas where an issue, no worries about striking a pose on union street, windy, wet and cold no problem. It makes life easier when couples are so relaxed.
The wedding ceremony was at the Town House in Aberdeen, a beautiful, building for photography although tricky lighting to work with.
The ceremony was nice and simple just as they wanted, their families were happy, children well behaved, happy and full of character that I feel reflected their up bringing. Anyway Once again I go off in a tangent and become a psychologist, I think I just look very closely at people so as to try get the best photos I can for both them and myself.
The reception was at the Carmelite Hotel, Aberdeen. Home of Jazz and Jenga not to mention the 4 poster bed/jenga/dining table and famous for funky stylized bedrooms. We got some nice photos here too, I liked this very much.
Thanks to everyone on the day from Keith, Pamela, the kids, families and all staff at the Town house and hotel for helping me get the photographs I needed to get for The happy couple.

I hope you like the photos and please do keep us in mind for your wedding or special event.
Thanks
Paul and Sarah

Nicholas and Lesley Anne Gill's Wedding at Meldrum House Hotel

Another Fine Wedding and the first where we supplied the wedding Video. It was great to co coordinate our work on the day with Niall and Bron our videographers.
Nicky, the groom was only nine years old when I met him, a young loon and the spit of his mother, Nan, whom I worked with for several years. It was great when he called me about photographing His and Lesley Anne's wedding. It was strange to see him as a grown man and doing well for himself, I felt a little old tho to be honest. His wife Lesly is a great Girl and they are certainly in love, I could see this when they looked at eachother and something just seemed right. I like that I do.
The wedding was at Meldrum House Hotel, Old Meldrum. The weather was interesing to say the least what with all seasons in one day but luckily we were outside at the right time for some portraits and managed to dodge the hail. During the ceremony I couldnt hear a thing as the hail stotted off the roof and shook the canvass off the frame, Crazy.
Anyway I can waffle on a bit,
Enjoy the photographs
